Dry Land has 5 members with a big passion for progresive rock.
First we like to start with a warm thank you to Johanna van Warners for making our beautiful visuals.
*Francois Teering – Vocals and Keyboardist of Dry Land*
As the lead singer of Dry Land, the ultimate Marillion Hogarth era tribute band, and try to bring the magic of Marillion to life on stage. With a deep passion for the progressive rock we ensure that fans can fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere and emotion of the music. In addition to my role in Dry Land, I am also the lead vocalist for the Camel tribute band Ice, which further fuels my passion for symphonic rock. Our goal with Dry Land is to deliver a unique, authentic Marillion experience at every show, captivating both long-time fans and new listeners alike.
*Hans Velders – Guitarist of Dry Land*
As the guitarist of Dry Land Marillion Tribute I feel spoiled to be able to step into the shoes of one of my favorite guitarists, Steve Rothery. Besides Dry Land I play in Ice Camel Tribute which of course leans towards Marillion. Prog is my passion and Marillion and Camel in particular. I find it a great challenge to approach Steve’s sound and feel.
*Wim Heerink – Bassist of Dry Land*
I have been making music for many years and I am broadly oriënted in my love for Blues- and Rock-music. When I was asked to play at Dry Land Marillion, i immediately fell in love with Pete Trewavas’ bass-playing. The feeling that the bass brings to Marillion-songs is very complicated and melodic. Playing with that makes me a happy person.
*Frank van Rees – Keyboardist of Dry Land*
In the early 80s I got interested in synthesizers and how they were used in prog rock. I love the way they play and the sound design. Mark Kelly is highly talented keyboardplayer who is greatly admired. It’s great honor to play some work of this fantasic band.
*Maarten Tappen – Drummer of Dry Land*
I’m Maarten Tappen, the drummer of the band. I try to bring the feel of the Marillion-songs like Ian Mosley does. Marillion is one of my most favourite band so the be part of Dry Land is an anour for me! I’d like to be an allround musicion, so I have another band ‘de Getapte Jongens’ wich is an allround partyband and there I am the leadsinger and pianist. Being part of two bands is perfect for me so I hope to stay for a long time with Dry Land and have more great gigs with the band! Hope to see you somewhere in Europe!
