MARILLION MEETS FISH & HOGARTH in the Aula Joseph-Beuys-Schule in Kleve Germany, come Saturday November 25, 2023 to this wonderful evening-filling Marillion squatter. Starts at 8 p.m.
This evening we dive into the musical history of Marrillion; one of the most influential bands in neo-progressive rock. We do this with two different bands: Forgotten Sons takes care of the era with singer Fish and Dry Land focuses on the later years with Steve Hogarth.
Marillion tribute Dry Land plays songs from all albums from “Seasons End” to “An hour before it’s dark”, the 20th studio album released in 2022.
Some of their setlist includes: The Space, This Strange Engine, Berlin, Fantastic Place, Neverland, The Great Escape, An Hour Before it’s Dark and many others.
The band Forgotten Sons from the Rhein-Main area takes the listener musically to the 1980s: The early years of Marillion are closely associated with the then charismatic frontman Derek William Dick – better known as “Fish”.
In addition to the album “Misplaced Childhood”, which is central to the concerts, the setlist naturally also includes the classics from the other albums with FISH, which are often no longer found in the contemporary versions of the originals.
